Booking and Cancellation Policy

Booking and Payment
Payment is due in full at time of booking. Your spot is not confirmed until payment is received in full. All participants and parents/guardians are required to complete a Release of Liability Waiver and an In-Take Form prior to any lesson, clinic, or program. Participants will receive information relevant to their session no less than 72 hours prior to the scheduled date.

Cancellations
Cancellations made by the client 15 days or more prior to the start date of their session will receive a refund minus a 20% administration fee of the lesson, clinic, or program cost. Cancellations within 8-14 days of the start date of your session, program or course will be offered 50% of the session, program or camp cost. Cancellations within 7 days of the start date of your session, program or course will not be offered a refund. Motive Athlete Development reserves the right to cancel any session, program or camp due to inclement weather, insufficient bookings or for any events beyond our control. Alternate dates will be arranged in these cases, or a full refund will be provided.

Changes
Changes can be made to your registration 8 days or more prior to the start date of your session, program or camp and will be subject to a 20% administration fee. Changes must take place in a calendar year and are subject to availability.

Missed sessions / Transfers
If part or all of a session, program or camp is missed for any reason, it cannot be transferred to another session, program or camp.
Transfers of a session, program or camp to another person may be allowed on a case-by-case basis.

Tardiness
Clients arriving late will receive the remaining scheduled session, program or camp time, unless other arrangements have been previously made with the coach. The coach is not required to provide instruction past the scheduled lesson time.

Clients' Equipment
It is the client's responsibility to ensure their bike is regularly maintained and safe to ride. Coaches may exercise their right to refuse to repair a client's bike if it is not ready to ride. In the instance that the coach deems the client's bike is unsafe to ride, the client will not receive a refund for the missed lesson. Helmets are mandatory for all sessions - they must not be dented, cracked, have missing pieces, and be in good condition. If a client does not have a helmet, their helmet is damaged, or they refuse to wear their helmet, they cannot participate until they have one that is in good working order. No refunds will be administered in the case of a client not having an appropriate helmet.
